Scale
For the Chicken:
- 4 small-medium chicken breasts (or 2 large, halved)
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
For the Creamy Garlic Sauce:
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Chicken: Pat chicken dry and season with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Press grated parmesan cheese onto each piece.
- Cook the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken for 5-6 minutes per side until crispy and golden. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Pour in heavy cream, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
- Add Parmesan & Spinach: Stir in grated parmesan and fresh spinach. Simmer for 2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Combine & Serve: Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over the top, and let simmer for 1-2 minutes. Serve hot with pasta, mashed potatoes, or vegetables.
Notes
- Use freshly grated parmesan for the best crispy texture.
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving to retain juiciness.
- To prevent sauce curdling, simmer on low heat and stir continuously.
