Description

Easter Dirt Cups are a fun and festive no-bake dessert made with layers of colorful pudding, crushed Oreos, and Easter-themed toppings like Peeps and candy eggs. Perfect for kids and holiday celebrations, these easy-to-make treats are as delicious as they are adorable!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (3.9 oz.) vanilla instant pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 container (8 oz.) Cool Whip, thawed
  • 1 package Oreo cookies, crushed (filling removed)
  • ½ cup shredded coconut
  • Green food coloring (for coconut “grass”)
  • Additional food coloring (to tint pudding layers)
  • Easter Peeps (marshmallow bunnies or chicks)
  • Easter candy eggs (such as Cadbury Mini Eggs or M&Ms)

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the pudding mix and milk until thickened (about 2 minutes). Let sit for 5 minutes.
  • Divide the pudding into separate bowls and tint each with pastel food coloring.
  • Gently fold Cool Whip into each colored pudding to create a light, fluffy texture.
  • Place crushed Oreos at the bottom of serving cups.
  • Layer the pudding, alternating colors, with crushed Oreos in between. Finish with a final layer of Oreos on top.
  • Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  • In a small container, mix shredded coconut with a few drops of green food coloring. Shake until evenly tinted.
  • Just before serving, sprinkle coconut “grass” on top. Decorate with Peeps and candy eggs.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use chocolate pudding instead of vanilla.
  • Store in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • Serve in clear cups for a beautiful layered presentation.
  • Let kids decorate their own dirt cups for added fun!
